  • Exploring the inner area of Pinwheel Forest!
  • Beat Twins Mayo & May, Youngster Nicholas, PKMN Rangers Forrest, Audra, Irene, Miguel; School Kids Sammy and Millie; Lass Eva. Who the heck just hides in the grass and pounce on unsuspecting trainers the whole game?
  • Beat 4 Team Plasma Grunts – Basically, it was like “Sorry, the Dragon Skull is in another castle.”
  • Got Dragon Skull back! Kind of expected a big boss though. I stole it from you??? You just gave it to us lol.
  • WHAT?? Poison doesn’t work when you’re walking?? They must’ve really upgraded the Pokeballs! This goes against all the RPG foundations I have created for myself. (O_O)
  • Caught Sewaddle, Venipede, Petilil.

  • Started traveling through the Pinwheel Forest. (Silly wind sound here) WhOooo!
  • What’s strange is there’s an outer area and an inner foresty area. Let’s battle and catch Pokemon outside first! (Pssh, Team Plasma can wait for me)
  • Beat Nurse Shery; Preschoolers Juliet and Homer; Youngsters Keita and Zachary; Black Belt Kentaro; and Battle Girl Lee. YES!
  • Caught lots of wild ones! Tympole (So freakin cute!!), Timburr, andThroh. Triple T-threat. =)

  • Took a while, but I explored many shaking grasses and found a Sawk…um, Throh’s brother/cousin?
  • image
  • Wow, these fighting Pokemon would’ve helped with Lenora. It’s ok, my Servine is superpowered. =D
  • Finally, I evolved my Pidove into a Tranquill.
  • image
  • Will definitely explore the inner forest of Pinwheel Forest and beat Team Plasma next time!
  • Performed a Feeling Check with another friend and got a 75!!
  • Total Pokemon: 31
  • Total Friends: 4

  • I finally made it to Nacrene City! It’s a very artsy sort of place, probably perfect for Smeargle.
  • Hmmm….so the Museum researcher Hawes who’s either white or Asian says, “Oh, my wife is the gym leader.” Leads you to the back. WHOA!! Did Pokemon just have its first interracial couple? Unova is loosely based off America. What are they trying to say? =P
  • Fought against Lenora and her evil Herdier and Watchog with my Servine.
  • image
  • Beat her with barely enough HP to spare!! Got a Basic Badge.
  • image
  • Didn’t get far out of the museum when Team Plasma comes in and steals the Dragon Skull artifact. OH NO!!! You’re too weak Lenora, my Servine can handle the job!
  • But let me level up my Pokemon. You can wait! Team Plasma will be in the same place. lol. First I evolved my Patrat into a Watchog.
  • image
  • And my Purrloin into a Liepard.
  • image
  • After getting a feel for the city, a very Southern feel, I’ve decided that they based it off New Orleans. (cough) Aunt Jemima (cough).
  • Total Pokemon: 25

  • C-Gear Part 3! How to input Friend Codes.
  • Friends are very important in the game…for trading, battles, smack talk, etc.
  • The easiest way to add is to go to your IR Menu and click Friend Code.
  • image
  • There you can point to each other’s Game cartridges and it automatically loads for ya.
  • image
  • image
  • Now, if you have friends that are very far away, you can just input your friend code through the Pal Pad, which you get after helping Fennel in the Dreamyard. But you have to know their Nickname too. Can you just put any name? Not sure, but it seems like it.
  • Find your
  • in the bag.
  • image
  • Click Register Friend Code. (You can also view your own if you want to give it to people).
  • image
  • Input their nickname.
  • image
  • Input their 12-digit Friend Code.
  • image
  • Voila! They should show up when you press Check Friend Roster.
  • image
  • The trainer avatars appear when you connect via C-gear, and the Pal Pad registree will be a question mark until you either battle/trade or “pass by” him/her.
  • Maximum is 32 friends! Because any more than that would be impossible in real life. =P
  • Total Friends: 3

  • Visited the Wellspring Cave again, and I caught a Woobat.
  • image
  • Darker patches of grass = Chance of two Pokemon appearing at the same time. Random double battles now. Great for leveling up!!
  • My Lillipup evolved into a Herdier.
  • image
  • Lastly, I got my Oshawott to evolve into a Dewott.

  • After a few days of “real-life” exams, I was able to continue my adventure!
  • I beat cocky Cheren’s Tepig and Purrloin.
  • I didn’t go very far when Bianca and a little girl were chasing after Team Plasma who stole her Pokemon! They asked us for help. Dang, this Pokemon better be Zekrom or something.
  • We chased them all the way to Wellspring Cave. Before I found them, I caught a Roggenrola!
  • image
  • After battling two Plasma Grunts, then a double battle with Cheren’s Tepig and my Servine, we got that mysterious Pokemon back. The girl gave us 3 Heal Balls. Um, like I’ll ever use these?
  • Wandered around the grass and caught a Pidove and a Blitzle!
  • image

    image

  • Lastly, my Tepig evolved into a Pignite!

  • Total Pokemon: 20

  • C-Gear Part 2!
  • No advancing my adventure tonight, but my brother and I tried this out.
  • Feeling Check under the IR Setting.
  • image
  • I guess it’s a way to check if you’re compatible with the people you meet?? We’ll see. Let’s Begin!
  • image
  • First we have a Rhythm Check. Tap stylus 10 times in any rhythm.
  • image
  • Then this complicated Sync Check. I think my thumbs were too fat because it took me a while to get it read.
  • image
  • image
  • image
  • image
  • And then we find our score. Ta-da!!
  • image
  • Rank D 65??? We got 69 last time. Hahaha. But hey, what’s this?
  • image
  • Sweet! A Sweet Heart!
  • So it turns out this is a rhythm game. If you and your partner match completely, then you probably get a better prize. Rank D gets you a Sweet Heart. Perhaps I shall try it with more people….and find my true love. ❤ 😛

  • DST can really ruin an adventure. Losing one hour of Pokemon time??
    =(
  • In the depths of the Dreamyard, I was able to catch a Munna.
  • image
  • I returned to Route 2 to watch for shaking grass. That’s the only way you can capture an Audino. After sitting there staring at the grass many times, I was successful. =)
  • image
  • Route 3: This is where you can find a Daycare center and a Preschool.
  • Beat Nursery Aide Autumn, Preschoolers Doyle, Wendy, and Tully, and Twins Kumi & Amy. Ummm, yes, a 23-year-old derives satisfaction from destroying 6 year olds in a Pokemon battle, mwahahaha!
  • First double battle!!
  • I find it funny that the nursery aide is willing to disregard her duties to watch the Preschoolers in order to have a battle with me. Hahaha.
  • My Snivy evolved into Servine!! (At level 17)
  • image
  • Total Pokemon: 16

  • Again, I didn’t travel very far, but I did play around and learn the basics of White’s newest feature, C-Gear.
  • It will always display on the DS’s bottom screen. You can customize the user interface. I’ve seen a lot of cute backgrounds for it. Perhaps I’ll get more stuff later when it develops. I got hexagons.
  • image
  • My little brother got hearts. Maybe because he has the girl trainer?
  • image
  • C-Gear is like the ultimate social network for Pokemon. You can locate nearby trainers (they show up on your screen), and actually see what they’re doing. I knew that my brother’s Pokemon had little HP and that he used a Potion, kind of like a Twitter. You can also see what location they are in, like Foursquare. Ok, it’s pretty much facebook.
  • Their profile is minimal, but you get a sense of what the Pokemon population is like and how many hours we’ve wasted on this game.
  • You can also send premade messages and thank people. Yes, I will thank friends randomly for just being in my life. =)
  • image
  • Of course, this allows you to battle, trade, and add friend codes. What sucks is that the limit is 32. Well, what if I have more friends than that?? Not saying I do, but I…could? And also, is there a need for a Union Room now? I have yet to see what trading is like through C-gear though.
  • Still couldn’t link to Gamesync. =(
  • That’s just to start, I’m sure there will be more features as I progress! I love it so far!
  • Total Registered Friends: 2
  • Total Pokemon: 13
